Wal ‘asr
Innal insaana lafee khusr
Illal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr

103. SURAH AL-‘ASR (THE TIME)
(This Surah is Makkan, containing 3
verses and 1 section)

Allah’s Name to commence
with, the Most Gracious, the
Most Merciful.

103:1. By the oath of that era of the
Beloved (Prophet Muhammad).

103:2. Indeed, mankind is
surely in loss.

103:3. Except those who
believed and did good deeds,
and advised one another
towards the truth, and advised
one another to have patience.
